Christer is a co-founder of Hægland & Svanberg, which was established in 2013. His main focus is on developing the company’s professional services and on consultancy in business law, tax matters, and accounting.

Christer primarily assists professional investment funds and family offices. He is highly knowledgeable about investment-related tax valuation and formal accounting requirements for limited liability companies. In 2016, Christer was elected to serve as quality controller for Regnskap Norge (Accounting Norway), which cooperates with the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway, to perform controls in connection with the authorization scheme for external accountants.

Christer holds an MSc in Business and Economics with major in Business Law, Tax and Accounting from BI and an International Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma from Bergen Cathedral School. Christer has been an authorised external accountant since 2012.

Outside work, Christer lives an active life with his wife and two daughters, which is why having a structured working day is important to him. He enjoys walking, especially urban walking, and has become a keen gardener with an interest in ecological gardening. Should there be any time left over beyond this, this is often used for strength training or on the yoga mat.
