Cau Tran Solemslie joined Hægland & Svanberg in 2024. She previously worked for Brækhus Advokatfirma and its subsidiary, Brækhus Dege Eiendom AS, which was one of Norway’s largest private management companies until it was acquired by OBOS Eiendomsforvaltning AS in 2021. During this time, she primarily handled legal accounting and financial management for foundations and associations that were clients of the firm. She also assisted international clients, for whom the firm acted as a VAT representative, with registration, advisory services, and the preparation and submission of VAT reports.

More recently, she has been responsible for the firm’s client account. Additionally, she has worked on bankruptcy and estate settlements and served as a controller for the firm’s management company.

Cau moved to Norway from Vietnam in 1989 at the age of twenty. After completing Norwegian high school, she pursued studies in auditing and business law at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo. She has been a state-authorized accountant since 2012.

Cau finds the greatest joy in tending to her garden during the summer and caring for her green plants in the winter, often accompanied by her cat, Williams. She also enjoys watching football matches with her husband, both at the stadium and on TV.
